Holiday Cheer
I have been away from this blog for way too long and I apologize. Finally, we are "somewhat" settled into our new home and now I can be drawn into my own stamping world. Be it on the kitchen table, kitchen counter, or in the laundry room. Anywhere I can find space. (LOL) Hopefully, my own pseudo stamping room can be set up sometime after Christmas? Crossing my fingers!!!
My Christmas card design for this year is titled "Holiday Cheer". What started out to be a complicated Christmas card design using Stampin Up's Sassy & Seasonal stamp set and Michael's $1.00 Martini stamp (insert: Happy Dance) instead has turned into something sweet and simple. Go figure! Now I need to brainstorm for a design using SU Sassy & Seasonal stamp set.
Techniques:
Top 1/3 of card I 'dotted' using puffy paint and let dry. I did not heat to puff the dots. Crystal Effects was applied on the martini glass. While still wet, I sprinkled D.D. on the crystal effects.
Supplies used:
Michael's Martini stamp, SU Whisper White, Certain Celery, Black cardstock, SU markers, black classic ink, red grograin ribbon, dimentionals, dazzling diamond, crystal effects and puff paint.
