Baby Charm

This layout is for SC178. My goal each week is to stamp one card and post. Instead of waiting for my Cuttlebug swiss dot folder to arrive I improvised. I stamped houndstooth background in craft white to soften the aqua paper and to add texture to the card.
I used my cuttlebug folder, tied the charm with ribbon and then popped it up using SU glue dots. There are a lot of soft details which is hard to see in the photo but very lovely IRL!
Thanks for stopping by...

Stamps: SU houndstooth
Paper: PTI aqua paper, SU white
Ink: Craft white
Accessories: Charm, PTI ribbon, glue dots and cuttlebug folder

I finally received my first set of Papertrey Ink stamps (yeah!) and immediately thought of trying Zindorfs' technique (http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com) for SU's inspiration challenge and what do you think?! I must confess. I am hooked with the technique! In real life, the card is stunning.

Masculine Thank You

Masculine cards are so difficult to make. I saw the striped paper at Michaels along with a package of shimmer texture paper and thought they would make a good pair. I tried to keep the layout simple and not too much fussiness that ribbon sometimes gives cards.
I added some stickles to the truck and leaves of the tree to give is some added shine. A paper punch was used for the dots and they were also adhered with a dot of stickles.
After looking at the card, this card could also be used as a Christmas card for a male by using a holiday sentiment.

My inspiration came from this card:

Thanks for looking!

Stamps: Lovely as a tree, sentiment
Paper: Gold texture paper, designer paper, SU black and sahara sand
Ink: SU black and gold ink
Accessories: Foam pop up, paper punch, stickles

Graduation Announcement

I decided to make a gate folded card for my daughters graduation announcement. The finished card measures 5x5. I think I like the way this card turned out. Now only if I can find a envelope to fit.
All the papers I got at Michaels. The black is similar in texture to bazzill, as is the orange and the white cs has a nice shimmer which can not be seen. The cap and letters are of foam rubber which has a nice sparkle effect.

Stamps: none
Paper: black, orange and shimmery white
Ink: none
Accessories: Puffed glittery graduation stickers

Inside of Announcement

This is the inside which I love. My daughter is so photogenic if I must say so myself!

Thanks for looking!

Celebrate Birthday

Shameless case. I added a few of my own touches. I love the look of black and pink together. Hope Dusty likes the card! It's for my co-workers birthday.

Stamps: Bella Cake
Paper: Black, white and pink
Ink: Black and pink
Accessories: Ribbon, stickles, chalk, gems and letters (I can not remember the name of the press together letters)

CAS Thinking of You

In returning to stamping after a looooong hiatus, I had to start off slow with a simple and fast card. I think I like the results and can not wait to try this layout with other sentiments. After looking at tons of cards this past weekend (and can not remember if I saw this design), I would like to give credit upfront for this design if I CASED.

Stamps: SU
Paper: Very vanilla, certain celery and brown
Ink: Certain celery, brown
Accessories: Ribbon

Cuttlebug Happy Birthday

I started out making the pale plum card and then has to match every patterned ribbon that I own with card stock. Although you can not see it, I added stickles to the center of each cuttlebug flower. On the non cuttlebug portion, I stamped little flowers using the same color of ink as the paper and also dotted the center of each flower with stickles. It is so much prettier in real life.

Paper: Real red, yo yo yellow, green galore, blue and pale plum
Ink: Craft white
Accessories: Cuttlebug folder, ribbon, stickles and SU punch
