Second attempt

This is my second attempt at creating from yesterdays card. I wish the idea had come to me sooner as I like this one much better! It is hard to tell in the photo but I used ultra fine glitter on the yellow flowers and the centers of each sorbet flower. I yet have to master stamping with teeny tiny stamps without having the image smear.
Thanks for looking.

Sympathy Best Blossoms

My co-workers grandmother passed and I wanted a clean and simple card to send. It seems that I never have any pre-made cards when I need them.
So to make sure I don't fall short of any cards, I have vowed (to myself) to begin making two of every card that I post. One for the recipient, the other to keep. For cards that are gender related, I will make one feminine and the other masculine.
Lately my design styles have been in a very simplistic kind of way. With this card, although I want to add more, I am satisfied with the cleanness of this design.
Maybe my next design I will add a few more deets and one or two more flowers. Although the picture doesn't capture it, a tiny squeeze of stickles was added to the center of each flower.

I cased the layout from a member at SCS but added a different twist of my own.

Apron Recipe Card

This is my weekly promise to myself to stamp and post one card per week. Hope you like it.

I saw so many lovely apron cards over at SCS that I had to try making one. Instead of making a card, I mixed the apron concept into a recipe card. To give the card some lift, I used pop up dimentionals for the apron and distressed the edges of the card. I highlighted the edges of the card with some white craft ink.

Supplies:

Stamps: Snap letters

Paper: SU, Creative Memories

Ink: SU Rose Red and white craft

Accessories: SU ribbon and dimentionals, Flower brads, Micro gems, Prima flower, paper punch and distresser.
